New Foundation, Award Honoring Hamish Fenton Unveiled at Rye and New York Giants Football Games (opens in a new tab)

The Rye Record shares how the Fenton family honored Hamish's final wish to make a difference by launching Hamish's Difference and the Hamish's Difference Award at Rye's Nugent Stadium, where senior captain Benji Kaplan became the first recipient. Days later, the family announced the foundation on the field at MetLife Stadium, where the New York Football Giants honored Hamish as one of their own.

Local Band Releases ‘Purple,’ A Song Inspired by Hamish Fenton

Summer Project, an indie-rock band of Rye High School alumni, has released "Purple," a song written by Hunter Gillies and dedicated to Hamish, whose favorite color was purple. The song reflects on love, loss and memory, closes with the sound of Hamish's laughter, and the band is donating all proceeds from the single to Hamish's Difference.
