Hamish's Difference is powered entirely by volunteers who give their time, experience, and heart to carry Hamish's spirit forward. Our team brings together people who knew and loved Hamish with leaders across philanthropy, healthcare, business, communications, and the community.
Founder and Executive Director
Cassie founded Hamish's Difference in honor of her son, Hamish, to change the outcomes of childhood cancer. For three years she stood beside Hamish through his fight, and today she is a fierce advocate for families of children with cancer.

Gus is a proud father of four and a Director of Hamish's Difference. Inspired by his son Hamish's courage and spirit, he is committed to helping children and families facing childhood cancer.

Sonali and her family got to know the Fentons through mutual friends when they joined the Rye community, and their families became neighbors and friends. Getting to know Hamish was a blessing for her family, and she is honored to help continue the legacy of an extraordinary child whose impact has reached communities around the world.

To Eve, Hamish was like a little brother — funny, brave, and full of life. She keeps the board organized and leads the foundation's social media and supporter engagement.

Susan shared a special friendship with Hamish, from time together in her art studio to board games during long hospital stays and their shared love of animals. An artist with a background in interior design and architecture, she brings her creativity and artistic spirit to Hamish's Difference.

Hamish was a close friend of Alyson's son, and she had the privilege of knowing and adoring him. A board-certified dermatologist, she is honored to help carry Hamish's legacy forward.

Paul and his family have been close to the Fentons ever since they moved from Australia. He serves on the board because he witnessed firsthand what Hamish and the Fentons went through.
